Mouse Support spongy and sometimes non-existent. When you go on Esc, though, it works poblemessly. I used to play the Game as an Original on the old Computer, this one is just sad. The Music always Fell quite well, in the Steam version I had to turn the off (disgusting Tracks for my Ears). Oh yes btw .. Saving Doesn't go--> is supposed to mean that when you Press Save that whole Game hangs up:(

Awesome game. Part of my childhood. Bought it in early 2000, back in the pre-€ days. Never paid so much money for a game before. Sure, it is full of glitches. Sure, on some level it will pale in comparison to CIV III and onward. However, I can't really put my finger on it, the game has this charm that makes me go back to it once every year. It's a full fledged CIV game, with its own twist on the genre (futuristic era's). I am playing with the Apolyton mod, since without it the game is too vanilla. Apolyton brings a lot more modern and expanding options to the table. And as someone here mentioned earlier, No, you will not have archers shooting to other units on the world overview map in a game that predates the €. Come on men, CIV 5 was the first game to do that (2010). Look at this game in the right context, that it is old and will stay old. If you want modern stuff, stay away. Very simple. Anyhoo, would love to play this game with someone. Is anyone else still playing and in for a multiplayer game? PM me! :-) p.s. I bought it again just to have it on Steam foreverrrr :-) I still play with GOG version, must have more than +2000 hours into this game.

The game has an uncomfortable interface, which not even the first civilization was so confusing. The game and slow of per se but often you have the United and nn you have the search to do nothing. For example you produce a slave but NN can make no improvement because the research NN has developed no improvement. The search nn and free as in civilization you are given a choice every time limited and this causes precisely the lack of orders. The graphics then nn and not at all excelled and when the sectors are all occupied by improvements and/or unity becomes really confusing. The next Move button is missing and this can affect the game if you forget a unit. The management of the city forces you to the automatic Udo because every incremneto of population you should manage but NN being the alert when you have an empire a bit ' vast escapes and then you find yourself with Lalert of 3 shifts to decrease the population by hunger and with Amara frustration sometimes nn you can do anything.... Unless you use cheats that are included and activable in the game. As a veteran of the Civilization saga, Master of Orion and age of Wonder, and all the strategic generally this I advise against
