Candle Deep

Welp, you're dead. Unfortunate... but Death has given you the opportunity to return to the mortal realm, you just need to find the scattered pieces of your broken soul and he'll fix you right up and send you on your merry way. Easy.

ANY power ups found are kept even after dying! No need to grab them again if you see them!

WASD to move

E to select when in the pause menu.

Pressing "Esc" and then pressing "R" will restart the scene, cutscene and all.

Created for both Newbies Game Jam and Metroidvania Month 17 

All assets were made in the span of 18 days during the jam period. Made in Gdevelop with sounds from JFXR, beepbox, and Reaper. Art was made using Aseprite.
