I am also a noble fan of this Classic And can only recommend this Game for Purchase. Enjoys the Sense of Achievement when, after 5 years of development, your first Car from its own Level (Car Body/Engine/Wheel & Tire) shuffles up the Markets. The Construction of the Chains of Goods, the Control over Production and Sales, the very simulated Competition on the Stock Market-all this is really great Fun! Of course, after a few Games, one quickly discovered the Methods by which the AI is simply tricked, for example by Monopolizing crucial Raw Materials. It is not uncommon for my Company to evolve From a Diaper Manufacturer to a global Superholding company within 15 Years, which in Principle belongs to the entire Market. Nevertheless, the Game has some challenging Scenarios that also cause problems for experienced Players. Anyone who has ever wrestled down Leonard Hemsen in Global Domination knows what I am talking about at this Point. For the Price a clear Purchase. Preset you like the Genre.

This is the MUTTER ALL WIRTSCHAFTSSIMULATIONS! I've been playing it since 1995 and I love this Game. The Graphics may be put off, but it's absolutely expedient and the Strength of the Game is the Mechanics behind it: It's about the three Factors of Quantity, Price and Brand awareness. You start either a Scenario or a random World with a small Company and then the Limits are set only for you by the Money: Whether you buy Raw Materials from a Port or grow yourself is up to You, E.g. Barley. Through Production Chains, You manufacture Finished products (together with Aluminum it becomes a Can of Beer, on Screenshot 4/11 you can see the Production chain at the bottom right), which has a certain Quality, E.g. 30%. The more you invest in a "beer" Research lab, the higher the Quality becomes. In each City there is a slightly different Need for these Products and the Population indicates in Values whether they are more interested in the Quality, the Price or the Brand. There is a Price Level for local Providers to orient yourself to and then stick them out. The Demand is then also directed to these Factors and depending on the Price you have to increase or lower, expand Or shut down productions, train staff, build Additional Companies, do more Advertising, improve the Quality or develop a Successor product. There are extensive Graphics for every Company (Business, Factory, research, Conveyor, farms, etc.) and a Share trade in which you can also buy other AI controlled Companies-this is a Feeling Of happiness When, through the steady purchase Of shares of the Opponents, the Own Companies. You can bRing Really nicely with the Production chains if you want to make two different Products out of a Raw Material, because the Space in the Factory is limited by a 3x3 Grid. At Best, the Complexity of the Game and the outdated Technology (MS-DOS window Emulation) can be cited as a disadvantage. But since complexity is also the great Strength, one should not be deterred by it. For about 5 euros you get a Game here that deserves the Name "Economic Simulation" MORE than all other Games. P.S. My low Playing Time is explained by me playing it through GOG.com. There was the Game even before Steam.
