Capitán Kalani it’s a 2D platformer game inspired in the old NES games, having big influence in titles like Batman, Megaman, Shatterhand and others. The history is set in a future where the life is comfortable above the clouds and the machines are a big part of the daily basis.

Plot Episode I: Trouble in the factory

You control the captain after receiving a distress call from the biggest Factory of robots of the world. In the way, you're going to find out something more worrying than the distress call. Discover the utopian world that hide a big mystery, and find out who are the Robot's Syndicate behind the truoubles.

Gameplay

The game have no instructions and the difficulty is quite hard but no too hard, trying to emulate the NEStalgia of those games where you have to figure out what to do. The set change every level and with the progression of the history you will have a new perspective of the world. Talking about mechanics, you start with the basic Walkin Jumping Double jumping Ducking Shooting Health Bar Regenerating shield (ok that's not quite ‘basic’). And after? You will have to learn how to survive without some of them. The action is fluent the most of the time, with some in calm moments to take a breath.

Capitán Kalani es un juego de plataformas 2D inspirado en los viejos juegos del NES que tiene gran influencia en títulos como Batman, Megaman, Shatterhand y otros. La historia se sitúa en un futuro donde la vida es cómoda por encima de las nubes y las máquinas son una gran parte de la base diaria.

Historia Episodio I: Problemas en la fábrica

Controlas al capitán después de recibir una llamada de auxilio desde la fábrica de robots más grande del mundo; en el camino vas a descubrir algo más preocupante que una llamada de auxilio, en cada parte del juego irás descubriendo qué es lo que realmente está pasando. Descubre un mundo utópico que encierra un gran misterio, y encuentra quiénes son el Sindicato Robótico que están causando problemas.

Jugabilidad

El juego no tiene instrucciones y la dificultad es elevada, pero no demasiado, tratando de emular la NEStalgia de esos juegos en los que tienes que averiguar qué hacer. El ambiente cambia a cada nivel y con la progresión de la historia tendrás una nueva perspectiva del mundo. Hablando de mecánicas, se comienza con lo básico: caminar, saltar, doble salto, agacharse, disparar, barra de vida, escudo regenerativo (ok que eso no es muy "básico"). ¿Y después? Tendrás que aprender a sobrevivir sin algunas de ellas. La acción es fluida la mayor parte del tiempo, con algunos en momentos tranquilos para respirar.

Algunas computadoras con windows 10 tienen problemas con el juego, sigue siendo un problema con el engine y ya se está arreglando, mientras tanto el juego funciona usandolo con retrocompatibilidad de win 7
