Cave Friends

Oh no! Your friend is lost in the cave and afraid of the dark. Your job  is to mine glow mushrooms and flowers to create a path for them. Explore the cave and make your way home safely with your friend.

Controls:

W, A, S, D - movement

Left click - to mine

Mouse scroll - change selected inventory item

Left click -  place item

Space bar - to jump

This was a two week prototype for a class project created by Alison Wilkes, Randy Points, Darwin Henderson, and Alexia Carmona. As the theme for this project was building, placing, mining, destroying, we decided to create a game where the mining felt natural and was not the usual rock mining. We wanted to create a prototype of a game where there was no violence, but an experience the players could sit down and enjoy.
