As you delve deeper in to the cave, you'll discover new areas to explore, new weapons and new monsters to try them out on.Smart Characters!Throughout your journey you will encounter AI characters. Some friendly, some hostile. We're using an advanced pathfinding system which means friendly characters will be able to follow you wherever you go, and hostile characters will be able to track you down wherever you hide. There is no escape. Be afraid!Platformer Roguelike! Caveblazers is a modern platformer which incorporates some Roguelike and RPG elements such as permanent death, randomized potion identities, an RPG-style inventory system and tons of items, equipment and upgrades!Daily Challenge Runs!Each day a new adventure will be generated! It will be the same for everyone and you'll only get one chance at it! These challenge runs give you a starting loadout, and feature a set of different traits.Epic Boss Battles!Between each area you'll encounter a boss. Each boss is very unique, requiring a different strategy to defeat. Bosses are generally gigantic monstrosities with life bars stretching across the entire screen. Good luck!Character Customization!A whole load of unlockable hats, tunics, trousers, robes, and more! Or perhaps you fancy stripping off and heading in to the caves in the nude? Go for it!Compelling Combat!Largely overlooked in other modern Roguelike games, Caveblazers attempts to move away from the simplistic combat systems we've seen in other games in the genre, and incorporates fun, fluid and fast-paced combat which is accentuated by the game's brutal and persistent blood effects.Challenges!In case that isn't enough content, Caveblazers features a bunch of challenges for the well seasoned players to take a punt at. Early access review a rogue like like I like them. It makes me kinda think of Spelunky at times, a lot of mechanics are similar, with an RPG side in addition. It is neither too hard nor too easy. I recommend it.

A great Game for in between, anyone can only recommend the one who wants to rip something quickly without putting a lot of time into any Story.

Currently my favorite Rouge-Like. It reminds me of Spelunky, just with more Retrographic.
I hadn't bought this Game in the Sale and can safely say the £9.99s are well invested here.
I have now played just under 10 Hours, and the highest Level I was allowed to see so far was Level 6. Since dying here is the order of the Day, you should have some Frustration in your Luggage. However, Since you are constantly unlocking new Things, this will be compensated again.

Very good 2D game! A good surprise from a bundle!
-The graphics goes well the customization is exelente, when one starts a RAID (entry in the Dungeon) we start from zero and we harvest abilities and stuff as the level is measured,-when you die you go from scratch and you gain exp to unlock perks Qu I are original (like the vampire)-the levels are never the same because randomly generated which gives a good lifespan to the game I recommend to the Dungeon lovers good hours in perspective!

There are a lot of good things about this game, the concept is great & I love the Broforce engine and the items. But the developers did not make a good job to make the insane difficulty rewarding enough. Yeeah, randomly placed instakill-spikes combined with pretty inaccurate controls... awesome combination. To defeat the bosses, you have to learn their patterns very carefully and even then, some are just too hard, if you get them as first boss with bad items (they are randomized).
The first few hours you think: Ok, it's hard, I just have to become better. Like a good rogue-like. Then it becomes like: okay, no. Awesome run and you die to stupidly placed spikes. You have to invest lots of hours in the first few levels until you become better. Played 50h now, still haven't seen the last boss. Don't think it's only me. But okay, still I played a lot of hours so I can't say its totally bad. But I would recommend it only on sale if you like very hard games.
