Will you find shelter in the night?
Perhaps you're moved out of the area by the police for loitering. Unable to find shelter, you end up on the streets at night, and you meet a dog. Is it a stray? Could it be a friend? All your actions affect your happiness in some way, and it's up to you to manage your stats accordingly. You could turn to drink, but risk addiction. You could hope for a fortunate event, or make some progress towards your survival.
But you will have to choose. It could all be over if a bad event occurs in the dangerous night streets. Especially during winter.
Every run is different, and with each run comes more ways to explore CHANGE.PLANS
Our goal with this project is to raise awareness on the issue of homelessness, as well as raise money for it. We have done a ton of research for this project and while our wish is to portray the reality of homelessness, various aspects of sleeping rough have been abstracted for the sake of gameplay. We hope you'll support us during our early access journey as we quickly approach the full release currently planned in January.

CHANGE: A Homeless Survival Experience reviews and comments

Early Access Review I've only been playing the game since today and it's really interesting and almost addictive. BUT it's still arguably extremely buggy. In the 3 hours I played the game, the plays has totally suspended the game at least 3 times, has stuck or the stats were gone at once. .. That's a lot annoying.

Product received for free Early Access Review Dear Developers and Players, I can recommend this Game to anyone and hereby offer huge Praise to the Developers. On the Facts of why and why: In the Beginning, I was skeptical that Change: A Homeless Survival Experience could well convey to us this Feeling of Homelessness and Helplessness. After playing the Game a Time and getting a Dog by my Side, I automatically developed a Survival instinct and from now on my Figure and dog shouldn't lack anything. However, the Game shows hard as it can be in real Life! In the next Round, I wanted to do better. I had learned a lot from the first Round and thought this time I could do it. I wasn't allowed to beg in front of the Police! A short Test became a Let's Play Series! After the first begging earnings, I was finally able to buy a Guitar. I quickly had to determine to be able to play the Guitar, I had to actively press the Mouse button as a Player myself in the right Rhythm. This has been implemented very well and involves the Player. After I got my first hard earned Small Money, I had to buy something to Eat. In the Game you have to pay attention to your Hunger as well as to your Hygiene and Emotional State. There is also a crime level as well as study level. If you don't Look at your Hunger and just think about your Dog (as I did in the first Attempt) you die. If you don't take Care of your Hygiene, you can't get job Offers. The State Of Feeling can make you depressed. Steal food constantly increases of course the crime level. If you increase your study level, you can apply together with good Hygiene and hope for a Job. I have experienced so much in the Course Of the game! Sinister Shapes can appeal to you in the Game to sell dubious Stuff. You can get a Dog aside, but of course you have to take care of it as well. You can make Decisions in the Game about whether you offer a place for children begging For a Place to sleep. Whether you help other Homeless People! Whether you sleep outside or prefer to sleep indoors, where it is safer and warmer. And whether you prefer to buy a new warm Jacket in Winter or rather the juicy delicious citizen. If you don't see the Game as a Game, but are aware of the Message the Developers want to give us with this Game, then you have an unforgettable Experience. Verdict: It shook Me, woke me up and enlightened me how hard it can be without a Home. A Simulation that has it in it! The Money for the Game is also spent on a good Cause;)
