Children of Zodiarcs reviews

It was somewhat hard to fall on "Recommended" for this title. I have no qualms with the combat whatsoever. They set out on an original combat concept, and they delivered something good, not very deep, but definitely entertaining. A- (The ability to shuffle enemies around would have bumped that to an S+).

It's just. The story is such a goddamn bummer. I left completely empty and desensitized to everything. Don't go in expecting any form of payoff.

Excellent turn-based game with the dice attack system that I loved in armello but with a concept pushed further since you can downright crafter their faces according to your characters and the rolls they need (attack, defense, draw a card , activate a bonus effect etc...). The music is top and the graphic style too, the story for now is nice and the endeant characters.

Ah, this Game is so great! If you can do something with Games like Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics or even XCOM, you should try Children of Zodiarcs. The Combat System, combined with a Deck-building system and Cube Luck, is quite sophisticated. And it works! After 3-4 Hours I don't Feel like putting the Game away again. That is a good Sign. More follows, if I either have the Campaign through or it's eventually glued to me (I don't assume that).

After launching the game, I remained taped 3h to my screen. Once the deck and the dice are unlocked, it really becomes a real thing to make skirmishes repeatedly! Maybe even a little easy when you have the right dice and the right cards... But I hesitate to play in difficult mode because I like to raise the level of my characters and crush the enemies! x) really addictive, I love the fight with cards and dice. Only downside, I feel it will be a little short for me. Really a nice little game to discover.

Although a little game compared to the mastodont that the editor Square Enix creates it is not actually an independent (for me), but it is a good game more because of its engaging story than its strategy gameplay that plays too much on chance. you play with dice that can make you kill several enemies or do only a minor attack, but it still tactics. It may be a shame not to have a real choice in history, but it does not remove the quality of history, some passage will make you say "not that, it's not true it can not happen like that".

T-RPG of the most classic, but with beautiful novelties:-the deck-build system for the skills and abilities of the characters-a dice throw for each action to reinforce them and sometimes get either care or a supplemantaire action-the possibility to make a build to each character according to our way of playing the leveling of the characters, this fact by automatic increase of the classical carracteristics of an RPG (force, ATT magic...) and then by obtaining new cards to Add in the deck, as well as the possibility to modify the grouping of dice (if you want to have more chance to obternir or one effect or another...) We find a custom-centered magic, a remote shooting, body to body with big mass... a short way to delight all fans of the genre!
