At that time, I was pleased when Cities appeared on the Market in Motion 1, finally working again as the Boss of a Transport Company. Much better than his Successor CiM 2.
The Game offers different Types of Transport. Buses, Trams, Metro trains, Boats and Helicopters from 100 Years of Transport History, playable in 4 different Cities. Each City brings different Challenges to Domination, is built in detail and modeled after real Cities.
A Must for any Transport Giant.

Here You get an Economic Simulator that gives away a lot of Potential and where you look for the Depth.
But What you get here as the Main Task is actually not even such a stupid Idea. After all, the Task of building a Transport Company properly. This is even Fun [!] ... For the first two Hours.
The Game has Problems and they are not exactly small. Or to put it another way: There is a lot of Content, variety, Depth and Complexity missing here. But I just count a few Things here that I can criticize in passing.
The Cities don't really grow dynamically and already at that time they had got something like that from the Industry giant. Then there is a lack of a certain Environmental Impact. Because People are always happy in this World, except their Bus/tram Comes too late. Unfortunately, this is not a major Problem either. Just buy one more Car and integrate it into the Transport Network and is good. This is where the Question arises: If I have 100 Buses going around in Leipzig or Berlin, then at some point a great Environmental Impact does not arise and why does this not interest anyone? The only "Penalty" you get here is small Defaults of the Means of Transport and, of course, the Entertainment costs.
By the Way, it is almost impossible to slip into the Minus Here, because you like to get a "Task" that gives you enough money for no apparent reason. But even so are the Tasks you get here just because they have to be there. Although, the "must" is actually quatish ... They wouldn't have had to be there at all. Even if they weren't there, the Game would go that way, too. The whole Missions are really very simply knitted and stand out, tear down a Stop, build a Route from there to there and other little Stuff which shouldn't have been at all. Just because you get some Money there really doesn't make these Tasks much better now, because you literally swim in money here after a few Minutes of Play (if you don't fully doof).
In itself, I personally lack some variety here. And no, I don't see the Missions and random Events as a Change. Even some Motivation to play the Game longer, there just isn't here. And so by the way, the Sometimes expensive DLCs don't give so much Fun.
I refer with the "Review" completely to the One on the Sandbox game mode and not to the Campaign.
