CJ's Maze Escape

CJ's Maze Escape is a retro inspired adventure game made using authentic NES Tools for actual accuracy of the system's limitations.

The objective is to guide a polar bear named "CJ" through some mazes to get back home after his capture from an evil organization known as "Ninja Power".

Along your adventure, you will need to watch out for the ones who captured you, The Ninja Bears.

Collect an item called the "Electric Orb" to reflect back from the Ninja Bears and collect coins scattered on the ground and use them to replenish health.

Controls:

Arrow Keys - Moves CJ

Z Key - Opens chests and uses switches

X Key - Speeds up dialog in cutscenes

Shift Key - When paused, if you have enough coins, you have the option to replenish health. Z Key to cancel, X Key or Enter to accept.

Enter Key - Pauses the game.
