Product received for free a small independent game, developed and edited by Terahard, has come to purr us to the ears so that we can test it. When we saw that it was a cute cat Ninja, we could not resist, so we took it in our arms and we made a small test Express.
At the discovery of claws of furry released on September 7, and in our 1D # CoG selection of September, claws of furry is a beat them all fantasy with Ninja cat vigilante.
Your master has just been captured by a dog in robotic armor while he was teaching you some small combat techniques. You will have to arm yourself with courage and go looking for it as soon as possible.
The game features 3 modes, 2 of which offer the game's history. You have the rogue mode, which allows you to live the history of the game, but if you die, you start again from the beginning, a mode that you might think is quite barbaric, but once you master the game, it is extremely simple.
Mistigri mode, for those who think cats have nine lives. You will be able to live the adventure of the game as a whole, except that this time, if you die, you just start the internship again. A good way to train, because the difficulty is the same as for the rogue mode.
And for those who love fighting, an arena mode awaits you, with waves of monsters that will come to confront you. Very difficult, because we are very quickly invaded by all these enemies.
The gameplay of the game, whether in the three modes, is always the same. You'll just have to go through the level, while hitting the enemies at once who are driving you down the road with an uppercut and claws, or a super fill that also serves as a Dodge and that recharges when you hit the enemies, nothing simpler. You will also have to chain a few jumps to avoid traps and holes. We stay on a classic linear game, nothing very complicated.
The small weakness of the game is the extremely short life span. If you with the habit of this kind of games, you will see the end of the tunnel after maximum 2-3 hours. But if you're a very good guy, and you finish it the first time, you'll get 1 hour max. But without knowing the techniques of the bosses, which will surprise you every time, it is impossible to finish it in one part. The other weakness to emphasize is the AI that does not reflect, and will melt head down into a hole.
The game features different costumes for your Ninja cat, which unlock goals, such as killing 30 enemies with projectiles, or killing a boss.
On the graphic side, we have a very cartoon universe, and cute. Ninja cats are adorable, and the enemies are just as cute. It's a very cartoon game that uses a lot of dark color, but very well lit at the same time. The game is embellished with a very friendly Ninja OST, but by default the sound effects are a bit too loud.
The positive side, and not least, is the possibility to play in co op up to 4 players, perfect to rave with friends, but especially to come more easily at the end of the bosses, because even if they are not very difficult overall, they are very long to beat , it takes five minutes on average, to come to grips with the bosses each time, solo.
Overall, claw of furry remains a good game as a whole, with a very catchy cartoon universe. One regrets its short life span, and small flaws, like steam successes that do not unlock. It is still better to many, because solo, even if it is not difficult, we spend too much time hitting our enemies, and it makes the game boring. The advantage is that cats have nine lives, so you can die, they always come back.
Editor's Note: 6/10-CAT remains basic and it's too fast to turn around.
