Clockwork Empires reviews

I originally played the Game in offline mode (Time doesn't seem on Steam) in Early Access. At the Time, I saw extreme Potential. In The meantime, Clockwork Empires is no longer in Early Access and that's why I tried the Game again and revised my Review accordingly. Conclusion: The Game may no longer be in Early Access, but it still plays like this. There can be no much more that can have been done. One has probably only changed the Classification. First, To the Game itself: It's a typical City Builder, with the Difference that you can't control the characters available to you, but own Working Groups that can be assigned specific Tasks at a time. There are two different Types of Work That are needed for these Groups. Each Group must be led by an Overseer. These virtually ensure that the second Group, the Workers, does the Job. This is an interesting new Concept, because the Workers do the Work and therefore have to be lured, but without new Overseers nothing goes further in the Projects and these Are already a little more difficult to attract. However, it can cause you problems if the Overseer is not happy or dies, because then his whole Group no longer works. Sometimes it can take a bit for a new Overseer to follow suit, even if you had Room for him in the Colony. The individual Residents all have specific Skills, Likes and Dislikes that are supposed to affect the course of The Game. So far, this has had the following effect for me: Some perform Rituals, beat each other or stomp around discontentedly on the Ground and no longer work. Critical Points: Unfortunately, the Points I criticized in Early Access at The time were no longer improved. I have not been watching progress closely and therefore cannot say what exactly else has been done, but the Things that have bothered me are unfortunately still in place. I'm a bit disappointed with That. The real Problems include:-the somewhat limited Possibilities (for example, there are many Lakes or Sea, you can not fish). -the Menu is not very sophisticated; The Storage Levels are sorted out in a cluttered way, you can't edit them, name them or just delete them. When I find my latest Game Score, I never find it at the top or bottom, but mostly at Position 3, because the Automatic Memory levels are listed first. This could have been made more beautiful and clear. -For a Game that is no longer early Access, the Game crashes far too often. It's not reproducible yet for me, causing the Crash. -There are now 2 Speeds compared to the one Speed that exists in Early Access. Here, too, however, you should bring some Time and Patience, as you might expect with such a Type Of Game. In addition, you should not run the Game too long while you do something else, otherwise you will miss the Events that take place again and again (the same often in a row) and where you can make Decisions. -the Events are unfortunately quite repetitive. -The Tutorials are, in my Opinion, suboptimal. The Beginning of the Game is still explained, but then you are left alone pretty quickly and, despite in-game-wiki, has no Idea why what doesn't work. Because Of that, I finally checked why something didn't work. That must probably be the case in order for the Game to appear somehow demanding. -There is no Story, no real Opponents (occasionally Bandits and enemy Troops), but no Campaign to guide you through multiple Areas and Tasks. Each Game changes only by the Environmental Conditions and the Degree of difficulty is determined by its own Stupidity. I'm still learning, but honestly I don't know if I'm going to keep investing the Time. -The Control through the individual Menus is suboptimal. Everywhere you can only get out with Escape. The Graphic Style is appealing and the Lyrics are funny. That's a big Plus. If you like building Games and need something New, I can recommend Clockwork Empires with Caveat, but there are definitely better games of this Kind. So I would only access at a Sale, mainly because the Game is still expandable and I don't know if there's anything else being done.
