About

CloverPit is the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, a rogue-lite that traps players in a hell of their own creation. Locked in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM, you must pay off your debt at the end of each round, or fall to ruin – literally!

Manipulate the slot machine to earn extra coins. Turn the odds in your favor with various prizes and charms that trigger big big combos, snowballing into a dazzling lucky run. Bend the rules, break the game, and pay off your captor long enough to earn a shot at freedom.

Features:

A gripping rogue-lite where every round could be your last!

Meta-progression, seeded runs, unlockable run modifiers and power-ups!

Push your score to new heights in Endless Mode!

 A hellish escape room atmosphere!

150 + items and synergies to boost your luck!

A sinister tale of addiction and escape!

P.S. IS THIS GAMBLING?

Hell no! CloverPit is a rogue-lite horror game, and not a slot machine simulator. Our slot machine is designed to be broken and ultimately overcome, and will never ask you for real money!

CloverPit reviews and comments

𝐐𝐮𝐨𝐭𝐚-𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐨-𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫
The devs of the unique platformer-collectathon "Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom", which didn't find much successlooked (I'm sure) beyond the obvious to 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐤's success, where the developers generated more hype in a week's work than they did with a long-running Souls-project about an underwater crab.. and then it became clear how now make money in this industry, but CloverPit truly feels fresh and independent, despite its extensive borrowings, Even Buckshot Roulette was inspired by another card game, Incryption. It seems to me that the gaming industry is running out of room for low poly inde-hits inspired by other solo developers' successes.

Some players might find "Clover Pit" even more addictive than its siblings, but it doesn't quite replicate the magic of Buckshot Roulette: The runs there was fast, your life was gradually taken away, and the bonus items still forced you to calculate the best odds when simply deciding to shoot yourself or an AI enemy. In the "Clover Pit" runs are incredibly long, they can last half an hour, an hour, or several hours. And you don't make any choices, you just spin a completely random slot machine over and over again, and it's a ROGUELIKE now, you have to die and die (the devs even give hints for the future in the results table), and you have to do more and more actions in the game to unlock more 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬, with which, perhaps, you'll be luckier next time..Paradoxically, with enough skill, if you “figure out” the game and spin literally billions in 1 spin, the magic of a possible loss practically disappears, but no, it still doesn't disappear.. But you know why? Because the game is literally endless, so much so that you no longer see the point. If you win 4 stages, in each of which you are given 3 rounds (until you are thrown into a pit), then you get the key to the Box! You can put an extra talisman in it (maximum 7 are active), and then it all starts over again.. Only the key to the box is for winning the game! There's no escape from the scary room, and there are as many as 4 locked boxes!! (If you've already opened one in the demo, your progress will carry over). And fulfilling the quota for the twentieth time, now reaching millions, to avoid being thrown into the pit, well, that's not scary anymore, meaning the game turns into a very nerd game.. you'll be exhausted even reading the talismans descriptions, though I admit there are a huge number of interesting combinations in the game that you can assemble (after opening the second box, game modifiers are unlocked).

Okay, to quickly explain the game if you don't plan to play for hours, look: you have two currencies – Money and Clovers – and a board showing an exponentially increasing amount of money you must deposit into the slot over three rounds.
Each round is either three spins of the roulette wheel + two Clovers for a small amount of your money; or you pay more money + take one Clover but get a total of seven spins. After each spin, you receive a small cash bonus. If you've already deposited part of your quota into the slot, you receive about 10% cashback each round. You can also use the money to respin the talisman shop behind you, which is purchased with those same Clovers.
Talismans provide increased luck, a higher chance of landing certain symbols, or can even save your life (this unlocks after two deaths), but most talismans are limited in the number of uses or may be dependent on very lucky conditions. Some talismans are tied to the use of a button in front of the casino machine monitor, meaning you can choose to use them or not in a specific spin, but its power is limited. The key (as I understand it) is to use talismans to generate a huge multiplier from all possible combinations and "jackpots." And if, on the contrary, you win a stage, then the phone rings, and offers yout to choose one of three permanent upgrades for this run, you can spin the deck of upgrades using the same clovers (You can completely refuse them, which will give you progress for certain of the same talismans), and there is another 1% chance of the number 666 appearing on the screen, which resets the winnings in the spin. Personally, I got it 3 times in 2 hours of play, fuuh it`s all basic things, something like that.
