Colonial Conquest reviews

After about 2 Hours of Playing, I would like to write a Review. [~ Short Review ~] The value for money is fine. Simple and simple, captivating Game-quite recommended. Since no Multiplayer or German Language Package are available yet: 9/10 Points. Recommended for any strategy fan! [~ Detailed Review ~] A nice Game for in between, which reminds me of Games like "Domination" and "Age of Civilizations." If you would like, it also bears some Resemblance to "Hearts of Iron," but without being able to explore The Technologies option, etc. The Gaming nations are: United Kingdom, USA, German Empire, France, Japan and Russia. The Task in the Game is to set up an Army and a Fleet, to conquer neutral Territories, which give you a higher Income and to outdo the rival Nations with so-called "Victory Points," which one deserves to outdo with The battles won-so You win a Game. Decorated with a few Additional Options such as: Spying to find out the approximate Number of Troops in an Area, send money to other Nations or bribe neutral Areas with Defenders to have their Soldiers deserted. The whole thing is, of course, accompanied by pieces of Music that do justice to the 19Century and early 20Yd and fit comfortably into the Game. At the moment, the Game is only playable in "English"-but is not a Problem, as everything has been kept quite simple and understandable. I was pleasantly surprised by Colonial Conquest and I find a good Game very captivating. The only thing missing in my Eyes is a multiplayer mode and a German Language Package, otherwise I have nothing wrong with this Game. 4 euros thrown in the trash. You Start a game and does not let you continue, all the time you get out of the game with bad luck, nor lets you load the saved games.

I still know this Game from earlier, where I teeded it for hours on the Atari. I'm glad to have finally found it in a modern Version and still really like to play it. Just annoying the App's time-consuming Crashes. Please improve!!

When I discovered the Game, I had to have it. I Had played it in my Youth on the Atari until falling over. Unfortunately, it couldn't really convince me on the iPad. With me, the Program keeps crashing. There are also Bugs in one two Places that cloud my Gaming pleasure a bit. For real Fans but recommended despite everything. The Graphics and Animation are well done.

Many bugs, with incessant crashes forcing to save several times for each round under pain to restart it several times, which makes the game painful, even frankly unbearable. Anyway the strategy lacks outright subtlety: no economic, diplomatic or political dimension, even the fights are very basic (at least when the summary is displayed, another bug!). Very disappointed and bitterly regreting my €4!!

At this point, one month after i bought the game, with no updates since the release, I can strongly recommend you to not buy this. You can just read the Kikstarter campaign and the absurd goals of its developers to understand that they will never fix the numerous crashes and bugs, add new modes and nations or fix the AI. For some reason they pretend to have like 3 times more money than they needed to launch the game to just compelte it... Not fixing crashes in months is just laziness.

At the Moment, the German Reich was also at War with itself. In an Attack on the South Of France, there was a franz in the same Round after D. was Conquered. Attack from there on the German Attack zone. An obvious Bug led me to be at War with France's War opponents and with the German Reich. Attacks on franz. Colonies now affect the D. Empire. This is nonsense, of Course, and if Bug's Strategies nullify, you can't charge over 4 Euros for such half-finished Murks. Even Reboots don't fix the Bug. Price Performance insufficient.
