About

'Cool Cool Jam' (otherwise known as Kuru Kuru Jam; クルクルジャム) is a Japanese instrumental rhythm-action video game created for the Neo Geo Pocket Color (NGP forwards compatible). It was developed and published by SNK on 10th August, 2000. Additionally, it was released alongside 'Cool Cool Toon', a Japanese title for the SEGA Dreamcast.

It's time to get your gig on! You play as a starting musician, whose objective is to form a band by recruiting an eccentric display of folks around the village. With new dazzling visuals to gawk at, you and your gang will be able to jam with an array of 12 musical instruments- each with their very own playstyle! This may include you turning your Neo Geo Pocket to match the instrument's specified orientation, "plucking" strings with the joysticks, and many more unique mechanisms. Play to the beat of the challenges that cross your path (or your own drum), and begin your journey of harboring the applause of your hometown!
