Cornerstone: The Song of Tyrim reviews and comments

Product received for free when announcing the Kickstarter, I had hesitated to backer. The demo was not great but I liked the idea and I thought the developers would succeed in proposing an interesting game. In fact, if they hadn't announced a mix between Zelda the Wind Waker and dark souls I would probably have jumped. Having influences is good, but throwing prestigious names a little haphazardly is less. Cornerstone is in the end a big disappointment. I expected to go on an adventure, brinting the waves at the bow of my ship and I finally got bored firm, the fault of the movements too slow, a lot of physical bugs, uninteresting fights and a craft far too present for no reason. It's a pity, because the prospect of visiting eight exotic islands was a good thing. Read the full test on game side story [www.gamesidestory.com] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3x1nhE4ppw

Cornerstone: the song of Tyrim is a Marvel as an adventure and action game you play a young boy called Tyrim. Tyrim is part of a tribe of Vikings. The men have been gone for some time and everyone is starting to worry, including Tyrim's MOM. But Tyrim is a different child from the others. If all the Viking children want to be like their parents, Tyrim does not feel a warrior soul, he loves... construct objects. Besides, the first thing he's going to build is a mass. Tyrim is going to go looking for the men of the tribe. The fact that they live on an island does not discourage Tyrim, it will build a boat! Cornerstone is a beautiful game with a beautiful story that caters to everyone with a preference for children. If I had to put a note, I would say a 98/100. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=685340217 to discover all my impressions on cornerstone: the song of Tyrim. [www.graal.fr]

I would have liked to give him a positive opinion, he gave me envy. So I was leaving with hope, surely too much hope... Cornerstone disappointed me. He's missing something that makes the game "alive." There, the universe must not be worked enough, it leaves marble. You force yourself to do the quests for not having invested in the game for nothing, and the more time goes on you wonder what good. Especially that good, side displacement (on foot or at sea) it's really slow... Tyrim gets hurt for nothing... It's getting boring. Not really. The game is not ugly, it is not bad but it has nothing really good. It's boring, it's soft... and underneath everything (on Linux at least) it's buggy either it crash or we are confronted with bugs a little disabling to play (eg: at the first launch, the bar of life remained Brown (not red, no...), you could not know if life was full or not... so it went wrong) by the time we ask a little what to do, no indication... When the universe is worked it makes you want to dig your brains out to find the solution, search every nook... That is not the case. In the end, cornerstone leaves a game taste sloppy, unfinished and it's a shame. He had potential, but the latter was clearly not exploited. Note: I have not finished the game, I think give up to move to a more exciting game. Steam note 10, 5h of game... Cornerstone shows me 8h of game... I've left a lot of time on pause so it must be 8:00 or even a little less. The game must therefore offer a lifespan of 10h-12h (maybe +...) if ever you are interested, despite my negative opinion.
