Cosmic Road Trader

You trade stuff for profit in this game, the goal is to get a million space bucks and then save your game. It's not as easy as it might seem at first, even if you are playing on the easiest difficulty setting. .

Controls:  You use the mouse to interact with most things.

Arrows:  They make you move when you are driving. :)

Enter:  Sell things in the shop if you don't want to use the sell button.

Many that have played this game seem to not like it, but...

...to be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Cosmic Road Trader. The mechanics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical economy most of the finer points of the game will go over a typical player’s head. There’s also the nihilistic theming, which is deftly woven into the very code, the philosophical messaging draws heavily from Søren Kierkegaard's writing, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these game mechanics, to realise that they’re not just deep- they say something hilarious about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Cosmic Road Trader truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in being caught in an impossible situation which itself is a cryptic reference to the struggle of life. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as my genius wit unfolds itself on their monitors. What fools.. how I pity them.
