Creeping Dark

 Manage your meager community to push the shadows back, and stem the tide of the baddies.  Manage your meager community to push the shadows back, and stem the tide of the baddies. 

Send explorers out to hunt down monster nests growing in the dark, while defending your settlers while they're busy repopulating your diminishing crew.

Currently a very early prototype, 8 hours from ideation to submission to a game jam I was late to.  Got a lot of directions I want to take this one.

Currently there are a few of the core mechanics present, but it's not quite a *game* yet.

Current controls

E - consume settlers to create new explorers, or buff up an explorer in the base

Q - return a settler to the base from an explorer in the base

WASD - control your active explorer

tab - cycle focus to your various explorers

Z - simulate a day cycle, while slowly decays the revealed fog of war.
