I'm in love with the image of a game and a terminal side-by-side, and I finally got it working in Cruel World-- HACK, MINE, and KISS various objects in order to be allowed to save your game, to unlock doors to otherwise inaccessible places, and to read descriptions of the mechanics of the game itself.

A PERSISTENT WORLD THAT CAN ONLY GET WORSE

A singular, shared server records your accomplishments and your every selfish action.

Will you protect yourself from the selfish actions of other players by taking selfish actions yourself, or will you keep faith and fight the good fight, no matter the personal consequences?

After that, you'll have to find someone in the community who's willing to let you pirate their copy. I'm strictly disallowed from selling it to you. (Until next year, anyway, but who knows what state the Cruel World will be in by then? Please note that I will be keeping the servers online indefinitely, even if the game becomes nigh unplayable.)
