Crushing Blow, an Arcade Game by Igor Litvinsky and Pavel Voronik.
Gameplay The Game principle is quite simple. In a certain Area, Objects fall down. These are made of different Material and need to be eliminated. At the Side, a Timer runs down and when it reaches 0 it goes off to the next Level. Objects made of Plaster, Stone or Porcelain are simply crushed with the Hammer by Clicking on them with the left Mouse button. Objects made of Wood must be crushed with the Cheer. To do this, you hold the rather mouse Button and move it up and down. Metal, on the other hand, needs to be recycled. To do this, you have to transport it with the Magnet (Mouse wheel) into a Basket, which is located on the Edge of the Playing Field. The Difficulty Kit lies, for one thing, in the fact that you have to destroy the Objects faster than they comply with. The Area is limited by two Pillars. If the Objects Stack up too high they fall down at some point and you lose a Life and when all Life is gone you have to start all over again. On the other hand, the Game is complicated by the Fact that the Magnet Only pulls the Metal Objects for 0.5 Seconds, so that it is actually only enough for a short Throw. If you aim badly or fall down a new Item at the very Moment, it can quickly cost you a Life. That's why you should also bring a certain Frustration Tolerance For this Game.
In order to simplify the whole thing a little, you can also improve your 3 Tools. This is only unfortunately quite expensive and also brings only a minimal Improvement. In addition, the Tools are also affected more and more with each Use and will have to be repaired at some point, which also costs. That's why every Investment has to be well considered, otherwise you suddenly stand there without a Hammer. The individual Levels merge seamlessly and in each one there are Tasks you can perform. If you do this, there are various Bonuses that are also very helpful in making progress.
Graphics Optical Unfortunately does not offer you very much. You always have the same loveless background and even the Objects look very boring. For this you always recognize what it should be, which makes it easier to choose the necessary Destructive Instrument. Still, I would have liked more Attention to Detail and a Variation in backgrounds. It would also be chic if the Tools changed visually when upgrading. So instead of the ollen Fox tail a Chainsaw or similar.
Unfortunately, sound sound is not offered much. Anyone who has ever been to a Polter Evening will recognize the Soundscape of the Game, so you can do without the Sound well.
Verdict Crushing Blow is a Game with some Corners and Edges. Nevertheless, it is Fun and motivates you to improve and try it over and over again. It is wonderfully suitable to bridge a quarter or half Hour and those who like to chase High Scores will certainly enjoy this Game. I still find The current Price of €2 justifiable, even if I would rather advise waiting for a Sale. However, If you are quickly frustrated then let your Fingers from this Game or at least get a new Mouse before;)
