About

"Cytus II" is a music rhythm game created by Rayark Games. It's our fourth rhythm game title, following the footsteps of three global successes, "Cytus", "DEEMO" and "VOEZ". This sequel to "Cytus" brings back the original staff and is a product of hardwork and devotion.

In the future, humans have redefined internet development and connections. We can now easily sync the real world with the internet world, changing life as we have known for thousands of years.

In the mega virtual internet space cyTus, there exists a mysterious DJ legend Æsir. His music has an irresistible charm; people fall madly in love with his music. Rumor has it that every note and beat of his music hits the audiences in
the depths of their souls.

One day, Æsir, who had never shown his face before, suddenly announced that he will be holding the first mega virtual concert —— Æsir-FEST and will invite a top idol singer and a popular DJ as opening performances. The instant the ticket sales began, an unprecedented rush occurred. Everyone wanted to see Æsir's real face.

On the day of the FEST, millions of people were connected to the event. At one hour before the event started, the previous world record for most simultaneous connection was smashed. The whole city was on its feet, waiting for Æsir to descent from the skies...

Cytus II reviews and comments

A very good game with some flaws, ill list them. -the price of the game is fair but the price of the extra DLC is ridiculous, there is no paywall like in VOEZ but it is still weird that in total (if you want some awesome rock and classical music) you'd have to pay 22 euros which is absurd for like 19 songs -the story is pretty good but its not that fleshed out, ofcourse its not the main point of the game but the story is interesting enough to pull you in a bit. If possible it would be great if the story would get more detail and more backstory -the gameplay is better then the first game in my opinion cuz it feels more on point with the beat then the last one, except for robohead i mean its kinda fun to have more stressing songs wi th alot going on in them but this character was mostly just not really following the beat. Also i like hardstyle and hardcore music but there is a lack if dubstep in roboheads selection of songs All in all a very nice seqeul and definitly a game worth buying if you overlook the DLC, cant wait for some extra content i can throw my money at XD

Let me start with something positive about this game. It is really addictive and a nice time killer. Reminded me of some arcade games I saw while traveling in Japan. Also, the story is nice and you get to know the characters a little bit better. BUT the thing is... if you want the songs that are really awesome be prepared to pay a lot more for this game. It is actually quite appalling how much they ask to unlock more songs. You buy this game for about € 2,29 which I think is a fair price. But then, if you want the songs with some awesome guitar work or great classical stuff you’ll pay € 10,99 extra for EACH. I mean, we have got Robo-Head, thought it would have some sick dubstep but instead there are some hardstyle songs which really, I could have done without. Anyway this means the full game will cost you around € 24,50 !!! :O I would get it, maybe, if they would ask a bit more for early access so you don’t have to complete more songs to unlock these characters. At least That, I would get. There is no way to unlock these songs without spending all that money so if you’ve got money to burn, go ahead spend them, but I think it is waaaay overpriced. Since I just started playing I actually don’t known if you are able to unlock more songs with the other characters but I really do hope so, otherwise there is really not a lot here at all.
