Dark Forest (itch) (Bored Clerk Games)

A short horror survival combat game made for some Halloween fun. 

Find all 9 profaned alters and cleanse them (press E while standing close).  Combat the creatures which have infested the forest by KILLING THEM WITH FIRE. (Left mouse button). 

Follow the lit paths or take off through the woods but beware; you are not alone. Look for the red stars; the defiled alters are right below them. 

Tan crawlers are destroyed in 1 hit. Black crawlers move faster, are harder to see, and require 2 hits. 

Press ESC at any time to escape the game.

WASD, press SPACE to jump.

Please note: there is a brief audio glitch at the start of the game in which only the monster growls can be heard. The audio returns to normal after the first two creatures are killed.
