Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition reviews and comments

Its good, but dead Island has never been as good as the first game.

this is a small review to point out what the deference between the definitive edition and the old one , if its good or not and if you should buy it right now or wait -the plot : same as the old one , nothing has changed , got main quest and side quest and its the direct seq uel to dead island 1 but in a deferent island ( near banoi the first island that the game was set in ) and this time you have a new character ( the 4 playable characters of the first game are also present in this one ) -gameplay : same as the old one , survival wit ha lot of action , you got also RPG element ( lvl up your character and unlock new skills ) , melee weapons and guns and all are upgradable and comprizable ( nothing has changed and that's good ) there is also new type of zombies , a boat ( jeep too but not t hat useful cause you will be using fast travel ) and new challenges , the dlcs are already included in the game . -graphics : ( here the 1 best part ) the game looks way too beautiful then the old version ( runs on the new chrome engine like in dying light ) every thing looks nice they even changed the weapons and how the customization look on them ( each customization looks deferent on a deferent weapon , even the guns are deferent then the old ones )but sadly you need a beastly machine to make it work on ultra cause the game isn't well optimized ( i had to turn off most of the graphic options like Ambient Occlusion Motion Blur to gain some FPS but even w ith thous turned off the game still looks good and enjoyable ). -bugs and glitches : ( the second best part ) the game is full of them , zombies glitching through wells and doors and get stuck in some inaccessible places ( i had to use grenades so that the blast reach them or restart from the last checkpoint )weapons and ammunition glitc hing through boxes and walls and tables ( cant take them ) some NPC freezes , sound goes off in some areas and after detonation of a grenade or a mine , the game sometimes dont synchronize immediately and you will lose some of your progress , some fast travel location will n ot be usable even if you used them before ( i hade to replay a whole section of the game cause the fast travel was gone ), some achievements are bugged ( you have to restart steam or the game to get them ) well those are the bugs and glitches that i faced ( it might be defer ent for some other gamers ). - same excellent voice acting performance just like in the previous dead island and the B.O is also great . - Co-Op is still live and you can find people easily. - achievements ( you can easily 80% of them in one playthrough ) and steam trading cards i got the game for 3$ (since i have the old collection) so its worth it but for a full 20$ with all the bugs and no optimization i recommend you to wait for some updates or get it durin g sales 7/10
