Dead Realm
About
Ghosts prey on the living inside the haunted grounds of a long dead electricity tycoon. Dead Realm is a creepy multiplayer action game with immersive and horrifyingly beautiful environments. You’ll either play as Human and work with your friends to run, hide, and survive or you can play as a Ghost and reap the living.
Dead Realm is a first person action horror game where players are split into two sides, the living and the undead. Originally an Early Access game, Dead Realm was developed with community feedback to make a fun, fast paced action game which emphasizes stealth and survival over strength. Often times, staying hidden is your best chance to survive and win.
The world of Dead Realm exists on another plane where ghosts of all shapes and sizes seek to reap those who dare to enter their domain. Players can select from multiple modes and pay across 9 varying maps, making sure players can never be scared the same way twice.
Features Include:
- 5 Terrifying Game Modes; each with a different theme and set of rules. Some favor stealth, others favor teamwork, all will make you afraid of things that go bump in the night.
- Ever wanted to fight back against the undead? You can now with our mode, “The Hunted,” which combines the atmospheric experience of Dead Realm with FPS mechanics.
- 9 immersive, horrifying maps, ranging from sprawling outdoor mazes to tight quartered buildings. Each map brings new depth and adds new variations to our different mode.
- A selection of frightening Ghosts (and alternate skins for each) so players can pick a ghoul to best suit their mood and playstyle.
- 10 Special Characters, based on some of the biggest Gaming Video and Streaming personalities in the world, each one made in collaboration with the influencer.
- 10 Humans to choose from, each with unique unlockables, emotes, and style.
- Multiple Enhanced Abilities for ghosts and humans designed to fit strategic, patient, or aggressive playstyles.

Early Access Review Dead Realm In the Let's Test Review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY-aCgBXdSg After an initial Misunderstanding (I assumed it would be a Horror game through which you roam with several People and advance in history), since Quickly revealed the Fun of Dead Realm.
In short, you play online in either your own or a foreign Lobby (these are admittedly still quite rare).
Basically, it's Kind of a Hide-playing/Catch with Horror Elements. A Player in the Lobby takes on (at Random) the Role of the Mind, who in a certain Time Slot must also turn all People into Ghosts.
He has two Special Forces at his disposal to do so. He can see people's Heartbeat locten/and can make himself invisible. Both Skills, as well as Sprinting, consume endurance relatively quickly, giving People a realistic Chance of running away from the Spirit.
People who have been caught also turn into Spirits to catch the rest of The people. However, these cannot make themselves invisible, but only have the Ability to locate the Heartbeats.
People are in Possession of a Smartphone, which receives signals from the Mind and can find out whether they are Close without a direct View of the Spirit. They also have Access to the Mansion's Security Camera. The Smartphone consumes Battery, which recharges after switching off. Endurance is consumed only by Sprinting. In Addition, People can set up a Clone Of themselves in order to distract the Mind and create a Force Field through which the Spirit cannot pass through.
You can talk to the other People via in-game language chat, but care must be taken to ensure that the Mind hears from where the Voices come from.
The Mansion offers many Hideouts and Secret Passages, so people have a good Chance of surviving despite the Special Abilities of the Spirit. Even the higher Endurance plays into the Cards of people. However, if the Spirit has already transformed a few People captive, it will of course be harder and harder for the remaining ones to flee.
So Much for the Game itself. Now my Impression: Anyone expecting a classic horror or Horror Game here will be disavdecorated. There is just when the Mind catches some nice Jumpscares and even if you hide somewhere and you only hear the tapsy steps of the Mind can become a mulky One, but real Horror does not come up.
So Why Positive anyway?
The Game is Fun! As you can see in the Video, we played the whole thing for two in the TS in a public Lobby, so we had 3-4 more "foreign" players on the "Map." These were rather quiet Except for a few short sounds. Nevertheless, it was neither as a Spirit, if one desperately tries to run behind the People with the low Endurance, nor as a Human being, when one Realizes that the Hiding place can still be so good, because the Spirit sees the heart-stroke, at no Minute lying down. I think when you play in a larger Group of 4-6 People, this becomes funnier again.
Verdict: As a Game of horror rather fallen through, as a party/Fun Game but fully dotted. I bought it for just under €15 at Steam and if you really Fancy a Game like that, you can also like to invest it. Others I would recommend waiting until it falls on around €10, which is definitely worth it. In addition, we are constantly working on updates and supplementing the Game with new Monsters or Game Modes, so that you like to look in again and again.
