This game was created as a submission for the SkillsUSA Interactive Application and Video Game Development Competition 2019 where it won first place at the NC State competition and second place at the SkillsUSA National level.
Description:
Death Knuckle is a Metroid-Vania 2D platformer where your weapon is a launch-able-detachable fist. Explore a cave, squash bugs, and gather upgrades that will help you traverse the map and make your way out of the cave.
Controls:
A/D or Arrows: Walk
W/Space/Up Arrow : Jump
Left Click: Punch
Hold Left Click: Charged Punch
E next to crystal: Save game
Esc: Quit
R: Main Menu
Scroll Wheel: Change Tool Selected
Right Click: Use Tool
Surprisingly useless dev debug commands: something having to do with the P and Q keys that nobody will figure out and even if they did they'd be let down because of how few and weak features it provides
