Deathgarden
About
Set in the near future, DEATHGARDEN™ revolves around a spectacular real blood sport that became the most popular entertainment on the planet. Players choose to team up as one of the five agile Runners or to embody the Hunter, a heavily armed competitor whose mission is to kill the Runners, preventing them from escaping The Garden.
Deathgarden pits individual cunning against strategy and teamwork–a lone but lethal Hunter against a team of dextrous Runners. Both sides must prove their skills and take control of the procedurally-generated Garden.
Asymmetric Confrontation
Power vs Agility: In this fast-paced action title, one powerful Hunter must hunt down five agile Runners, who seek to complete an objective and escape the Garden. The Garden
A Procedurally Generated Garden: Each map is procedurally generated within the ‘Garden’, a nano-printed environment in which Runners willingly enter to compete against the powerful Hunter. Each match boasts a different ‘Garden’ layout, which forces both sides to adapt their strategy to the environment and creates exhilarating, memorable moments.Long Term Support
Gameplay First: Deathgarden embraces the “no grind” or “no pay to win” philosophy. New gameplay content (Gardens, Weapons, Abilities & Perks, etc.) will be instantly available to all players upon the content’s release.

Early Access Review DEATHGARDEN is, as 01.12.2018, an asymmetric Multiplayer game in which 5 Runner compete against a Hunter, in a Kind of Arena. The Arenas are randomly generated from a Pool of Biomes (currently "Forest" and "Arizona"), Weather conditions (Rain, Fog, sunset, night, etc ...) and randomly placed Objects in the Game world.
The Job of the Runners, depending on the Game Modes, is to take some Goals. There are always 3 Points, which are randomly distributed on the Map ... A, B and C ... These Points must either be taken by Lingering at the Point, or keys must be retrieved from a "Key Stone" and taken To one of the Target Points. Once 2 out of 3 Targets have been taken, two Escape Options appear on the Map, which should be moved to as soon as possible.
The Hunter's Task is very simple: He simply has to prevent the Runners from achieving the Goal by confronting them with heavy Firearms. He always has to shoot down 3 Runners to send the third to the "Blood Post," where he can kill the Runner after a few Seconds. This repeats until the Hunter has killed 3 of 5 Runners. Then the Exit Gates open again and the remaining 2 Runners have the Opportunity to Escape, or the Hunter shoots them even before the Escape.
For a change in the Game, several Things contribute. First, there are 3 different Classes for the Runner, each with 3 different Abilities. On the Bottom, there are a Number of different Weapon Types for different Styles of play. Furthermore, there are various Objects on the Map in each Round that can collect both Sides to become stronger such as Upgrade Kits, Ammunition, Life containers and an occasional Golden box, which offers unlimited Ammunition and Resources for a Period of time.
The Gameplay, especially for the Runners, is much slower than you might think. Especially at the Beginning, Hiding from the Killer is the Be-all and End-all, so that you can first collect Upgrade boxes to enhance Your own Abilities. Once you do this, you can start taking the Target Points. I often see the Mistake of Players taking too aggressive action against the Killer too soon and then going to Ground jerkly at the point. The Killer in DEATHGARDEN is extremely dangerous and in most Cases a 1vs1 leads to a Loss for the Runner.
On the Whole, DEATHGARDEN is, in my Opinion, a fantastic Game that you get into quickly once you've internalized the Basics. The Game is very different from other Games such as Dead by Daylight or Friday the 13th.
NOTE: Currently, because of early Access (and the Price, in my Opinion, a little too high), there are relatively few Players, so you often need to play in the Evenings when the Americans are awake. So You may not get a Lobby at any time of day Or Night.
NOTE 2: The Devs are currently working on a complete Overhaul of the Game. The currently rather generic Characters are supposed to become unique People and also the Gameplay itself is to change completely. More Information about this can be read in the Blog of the Developers here on Steam. I definitely recommend looking in so that you know about what's coming in the near Future. :)
Below I have a short Pro-and Contratra overview: Pro:-very chic and varied Weather effects-no Loot boxes or Microtransactions (As of 01.12.2018)-very communicative Developers, regular Blogs and Information for the Community- Progression System with unlockable Costumes, masks, weapon Skins, etc ...-the Rounds always play differently through the randomly generated Biomes, etc ...-suitable and chic Graphics for my Taste-the Runners-gameplay is a nice Mix of Stealth and Very fast and agile race-Huntergameplay is almost like a Shooter with some additional Aspects-Hunter are dangerous and 1vs1 often ends in the Death of the Runner-German Screen texts and voice acting ...
Contra:-unfortunately very few Players (unfortunately no Lobbies at some Times of the day)-Price for the current Content a little too high (vll. is also a Reason for the few Players)-... The German Ingame texts and Voiceacting are even more mixed and need some Work------All game reviews of mine in my < < Review Section > >
