Steam is going through not the best moments in its existence, showing us from the Kridororskih Igrochelov new releases with one Achiykoj, strasty graphics, gameplay for 30 seconds and a price tag of 30-40 rubles...
But It's not about DeathMetal!
The Genre of Arcanoid is as old as the world... Rather as the whole computer game world! Arcanoid-This is one of the first arcade games that have even appeared in the world (on the history of games-in 1976, Atari releases Breakout, a game that later in 1986 acquires a clone in the face of Arkanoid, but it is only the tip of the iceberg, we will not delve). However, the sad thing is that the really usable modern arcanoids are practically non-present. The Last one on my mind was "Hyperboloid 2" from Alawar (and before that DX-Ball 1996). And If you consider the Steam shop, you can say that they are almost non-existent!
One game in the notorious "modern" 3D, another game with a "cool engraver" (from which to snatch can), the third game with cheat bells and unreal touch on the screen, another game just forgot about the physics (balls are fought off at 180 degrees, even if Hit the wall at an angle, yes-yes there were such "masterpieces")...
But It's not about DeathMetal!
DeathMetal absorbed all the pluses of the classics and only slightly diluted "iron" design and heavy music (justifying the name), which sounds only in the menu and with the active bonus "fireball". The Ball beats blocks, and beats off walls obediently laws of physics and geometry. From level to level the structure of locations becomes more complicated, there are moving elements (not breaking), blocks become diagonally, or in general round, there are not penetrating walls...
One minus. The Levels are only 40. The Game is divided into 4 episodes, 10 levels, and built so that, losing all the balls, you do not start from the very first level, and as if to boot from the beginning of the lost, with the number of lives with which came to this level. If you leave the game, you have to start from the beginning of the episode... In Our time we had only three lives on the passage of all 100 levels, without the right to mistake. Speaking of lives, the game is so arranged that you do not fall out the bonus "+ 1 Life" If you already have a set of 3 lives... In any case I have never had such a thing.
Pripravem All this good collection cards, low price and steam-achievements, which are performed one after another in the game, and only one will require you luck-you need to have 6 balls on the screen at the same time.
Have a Nice game, and good music to you!
