Deep Steam

Reinvent yourself as a Victorian era "pest-controller" (a treasure hunter) and wear a fancy top hat. Deep Steam takes place in a reimagined London Underground where you fight rats with fancy weaponry to get to untouched treasures and mysteries. Watch your step!

I'm a student at Media Design School in New Zealand and an artist & developer by trade.

• A couple of levels. 
  • The tavern - a place to grab a drink.
  • The infamous tutorial level.
  • The -infested- sewers.
• Two weapons to choose from: an inaccurate pistol or a short range shotgun.
• Quirky character sprites.
• One enemy type: the rat!
• Two NPCs: the sexy tavern keeper and the unimplemented merchant.
• Pretty fun combat if I say so myself.
• 10 awesome... mostly implemented items (no health pick ups, extra challenge!)
