DEFLECTOR (itch) (Emmycron)

Made for Brackeys Game Jam 2020.2

Theme: Rewind

In DEFLECTOR, you control the titular character, a sword wielding android who uses her sword to deflect projectiles right back at her enemies!

CAREFUL: If the Deflector misses a swing she'll become temporarily STUNNED! Make each and every one of her strikes precise.

Aim for the highest COMBO you can! For every 10 points in your combo, the Deflector will replenish 1 life charge!

Beware THE CANNONS:

These machines will try to shoot the Deflector from a distance and will fly away if she get too close. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

Beware THE PURSUERS:

These soldiers will invade the arena periodically and will hunt the Deflector down swiftly. Make swifter work of them.

WASD to move.

Mouse to aim.

LMB to swing the Deflector's sword.

ESC to exit the simulation.

I may add more to this game in the future so stay tuned! In the mean time, can you beat my high score of 140? Good luck.
