The perma death is more and more common. JonHarwood creation has just released its very first game, demon heats. But is it really worth it? As soon as you come into play, a little character will start talking to you: don't worry, it's not yet an enemy, they'll arrive much later. This character will teach you how to play the game, the different commands to use, the combinations,... It will be necessary to advance in the level in order to destroy the demon core in order to activate the portal to the next level. But will you live to the heart of the demon? We control for the beginning of the game, snow, which can turn into a "band of bats" to escape death. Thanks to this power snow will be able to jump higher or faster depending on where we want to go but also pass through some blocks that constantly threaten to kill us! There are other unlockable characters with their own weapons and skills, but for the assets it will be necessary to finish the game either: the 3 different levels and their 15 sub-levels as well as their end bosses. Once the game is complete you unlock the mod "demon" our character will have a choice of limited actions. We can only jump twice and use our special ability once. To be able to reuse them it will be necessary to put foot on the ground so that the counter resets to zero. The game offers us a growing difficulty between each level, starting with a few platforms, until the real challenge, where we will have to dodge a multitudes of traps to achieve our goal. But the platforms will not be our only enemies, there will also be some demons who will join the party. Static blocks or characters that will chase us in order to take our lives, are in all levels, a major threat to our quest but there will be several ways to kill them. The first one can be the simplest but can be really complex at times. Snow being equipped with a Katana, it will only take one or two blows to get rid of our enemies, if they do not do it before us. The monsters can be really fast and take us by surprise. In addition to that, we will not have a very large scope with the Katana, so we must get close enough to be able to defeat them! The second solution is to use cunning. Some may say that it may take some time, but ultimately not that much. In any case, we will not have thirty different solutions. A fairly simple technique and jumping over the enemy to avoid it and keep moving forward. A second technique and make him fall into a hole while he is busy chasing us. At the ATH level, we will have the right to a counter that pushes the most daring of you to perform races against the clock and speedrun. To be careful, as soon as the level is started, the Chrono snaps, so you will not have to waste time. JohHarwood creation really did a very good job. The game can sometimes be quite frustrating, and even if in all there are only a fiftieth of levels, it promises you many hours to try to finish it at 100%.
