Story

Jason is a demon, broken and sentenced to suffer for eternity. Scourge offers him a deal: if Jason finds Celandine, a fallen angel on earth, and brings her to him, Jason's crime will be forgotten and his previous position in Hell will be restored.

Jason lies his way into traveling with Celandine, pretending to be human and gaining her trust as he walks her towards betrayal. But the better he comes to know her, the more his resolve wavers, until all he wants is to save her from the very fate he was sent to condemn her to.
