Deusimator
About
Imagined as Jalopy married to Mech Warrior, Megas XLR made into a video game. On a lonely road through nowhere you pilot an automotive mecha. With the emulated controls of a giant robot you are pitted you against a kaiju-sized sasquatch. This monster that came from the edge of the sun and slipped through the crack in the ozone layer to get to earth. A bite sized experience that whisks together simulation with arcade and driving with boxing.
Built in Unreal Engine 4. Designed exclusively to work with a gamepad controller.
"Deusimator" is my thesis project out of school, completed over the course of a year. Developed in collaboration with a small team of students. Awarded "Most Outstanding Senior Project," by the University of Saint Francis 2019 USF 43rd Annual Student Art Exhibition.
