Dice Golf (Skou)

DICE Golf

A new kind of Minigolf with new Controls and a Dice as Ball.

This is a submission for the GMTK GameJam 2022 made in 48 Hours.

Nice anecdote:

after announcing the theme I thought of Simple RPG games with many probabilities decided by rolling dice.

Problem is that in German we have a single word for dice rolling:

Dice = Würfel

Roll the Dice = würfeln

So I thought that the dice should literally roll.

That's how I came up with Dice Golf.

2 hours later I thought how funny a random mode would be but with the name "(zusammenge)würfelt" So I looked up what that would translate to in English.

And surprise...I got the theme all wrong.

But then found the idea good and wanted to realize it.
