Dice Warp
About
Goal:
Move through the system and reach the jump gate
Movement:
First, place Dice from the dice pools into systems
You may view the potential encounter type in the event viewer window by selecting a node that is in travel range (Green circle)
Press "Lock in" to roll the dice (they cannot be moved after this)
Select a node(planet/asteroid) inside the green range
Press "Plot Course" to move towards the node (You must lock in dice before a course can be plotted)
When you arrive at the node the event viewer will show you the results of the event for that node
The dice will now be unlocked and can be moved again
You may not revisit nodes
Jump Gates:
When you reach a jump gate the "Jump" button becomes available
Pressing it takes you to a new sector
Ship Systems:
Each ship system has a level
Placing a dice in a system: When "lock in" is pressed the dice is rolled and the result added to the system level
Placing multiple dice in one system: The highest roll result is chosen
Events:
Clicking a node in range will show you the type of event that will occur in the event viewer
On arrival at the node there will be a difficulty check
This check will be against your system level + the highest dice roll in that system
The event viewer will show you the result of this check
Stats:
Hull: A measure of your ships health, if it reaches 0 you die
Shields: A protective layer around the ship, these recharge based on your shield level+dice roll per move
Fuel: Moving to a node costs fuel which is reduced by fuel efficiency system. If you run out of fuel you fail
You may also burn a die by moving a die into the slot on the fuel bar and clicking the "Burn Luck" button, refilling your fuel but permanently removing the die
