Diie is a Boss Rush 2D game, developed as the Term Paper Project in Digital Games Course of the UFN.
My objective was develop a game, all by myself (supervised by Fabrício Londero), with a strong authorial character, then I decided to take my depression as an inspiration to create the mechanics and the characters.
You are the no-named character inspired in one of my games, called Snowen (https://brunogatcar.itch.io/snowen), and you have to fight with your emotions to bring them back to you (in this build there is the "King Blue" that represents your "pride" and the "Purple Witch" that represents your "happiness). As you are fighting agains yourself, the game has no Game Over, every time you lost, you have to defeat the last boss again.
You don't have a life bar too, you and the boss share some kind of "tug of war", every time you hit the boss you put this "tug of war" to one side and every time you get hitted the boss put it in the other side. Who puts this "tug of war" completely to the opposite side wins.
My idea is continue the development of this project in order to release it as a full game in the future. Feedbacks are welcome!
