Dodge The Ghouls!

Dodge the Spooks and grab the potions, items and loot in this free game made in Godot 3.1 for MacOSX. To install, simply drag the game to your applications folder.

I found gdscript so easy to pick up that I quickly became confident enough to make this based off of my first example that I followed. You play as a girl in a dark place, and must try to dodge ghosties, cultists and bats, while collecting coins, potions and items for points and an advantage. Defend yourself with holy water, ghost traps, holy grenades and bring yourself back to life with the enchanted life staff! The game slowly ramps up in difficulty and saves your high score when you're done.

CONTROLS - 

Keyboard - WSAD/Arrow Keys to move, Space to Select, P to Pause, Shift to use items/bring up the cheat prompt in the menu (Keyboard keys to type in cheats - this disables saving high score)

Gamepad/Controller - D Pad to move, PS Circle/Xbox B/Nintendo A to Select, PS & Xbox Select/Minus Nintendo to Pause, PS Square/Xbox X/Nintendo Y to  use items (no way of entering the cheat codes with gamepad)
