About

You want to take your dog on the longest walk imagineable! Unfortunately, terrible city planning and inconsiderate litter bugs make doing so a bit tricky. Team up with your favorite four-legged pal to conquer the sidewalk and achieve the highest score!

How far can you walk, jog, or run with your pooch? Be careful though, bumping obstacles or allowing your dog to eat waste will cut your time short!

The source code for this project (less the Rope Minikit purchased from the Unity asset store) can be found here:

Any feedback/critique is welcome and greatly appreciated!

Made with Unity.

I fully endorse the creators of all assets I used to create Dogger. It was nice to find affordable, high-quality assets to use as I begin my career as a game developer, especially when my interest is primarily programming. Please check out their pages!

Art:

Synty Studios - https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/5217 - Synty created the adorable dogs, the stars of the game! The pack I used also included the frisbee, dog poo, and a dog bowl that I repurposed into a planter. Thank you!

Polytope Studios - https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/35251 - Polytope created the midieval peasents used to represent the player. Thank you!

LMHPOLY - https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/23022 - LMHPOLY created the beautiful low poly bushes and vegetation used as scenery in the game. Thank you!

Kenney - https://kenney.nl/assets - Kenney created the road debris, the benches, and the light posts. They have tons of free 2D and 3D assets to choose from. Thank you!

Kevin Iglesias - https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/36307 - Kevin brought us the walking, jogging and running animations for the player. Thank you!

Code:

Gustav Olsson - https://assetstore.unity.com/publishers/221 - Gustav created the rope object, complete with collisions and rigidbody connections. Thank you!

Sounds:

FesliyanStudios - https://www.fesliyanstudios.com/ - Most sound effects in the game came from Fesliyan. They are very kind to allow any game developer to use their sounds for free. Thank you!

Mixkit - https://mixkit.co/free-sound-effects/bird/ - The sweet ambient sound of the birds chirping come from Mixkit. Thank you!

FreeSoundsLibrary - https://www.freesoundslibrary.com/ - For the dog barking sounds. Thank you!

Thank you for reading!
