Doorways: Prelude reviews

I was out for a Horror Adventure. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Nothing really surprised Me and the Mood wasn't sombre either. Just because everything is dark doesn't mean it's creepy. You don't get paranoid at all at the Game. For Horror Fans I can't recommend the Game to others.

Waste of time and Money. Far too sinister, though that might even be considered a Plus with the spongy Textures. Often I notice only after several Seconds that I am standing at a knuckle-high Wall and no longer moving forward, which is far too often also the Case with completely illogical Puzzles. Creepy is actually just that Money is being demanded for this Game.

Game is not even as bad as it was described with 4players etc, but you could have made it much more. The Game time is very short for the two Chapters which I regret a bit (for €9 =. If another Chapter of Doorways comes out, it should offer more for it to be bought by me. I recommend it to anyone who doesn't overlook their Claims, the Rest, you prefer to buy "§ $%% &/(:

I hesitated to give a positive or negative note to this game because it has as many negative points as positive. Let's start with the positives: * the atmosphere is very beneficial * very good play passages (only in Chapter 2) * the story is intriguing the negative points. Maneuverability is cumbersome and clumsy. The inventory system is cumbersome and clumsy. The story is intriguing but poorly exploited, the script is not dug. I still spent a good time in this game of horror and exploration (especially in Chapter 2) but it is far behind rwms well known horror games like amnesia or outlast

I thought the Game would have more Content, Elements and Game Time to offer. But I've had both chapters within 2 Hours, of which I've been afk for longer. When suddenly "End" came, I was a bit shocked, but thought to myself that more Content might be added soon. Nothing there, only after a 3/4 Year came out Of Chapter 3 and lo and behold, another 9 Euros. For probably only 20 Minutes of Content again. The Game seems quite sterile, as if it were from the last Decade (Textures and Co.). The Puzzles are all self-explanatory and easy to solve. There were many Ideas, only the Implementation has not succeeded. Even the extreme Darkness is annoying rather than exciting. Even though I really support indie titles and like to support it, but on The Whole I can join the Review of Nappi. Btw. I can't take the Review of Beef Jack seriously. Doorways is Miles away from being able to stand up to an AAA game. I can't understand the Review of eGamer in The slightest either. Outlast or Cry of Fear, which can be creepy if you put yourself in the Game, but not Doorways.
