About

Downward Spiral: Prologue is inspired by 70’s sci-fi movies and modern TV series; it’s the most immersive journey in VR, has distinct style, intense deathmatch, gunpowder smelling action in zero gravity and mystery you have never experienced before. It’s the first game released using new innovative way of moving freely in VR space without players suffering from motion sickness. Built by award winning industry veterans.

Features:
-3 game modes: Solo, Co-Op and Deathmatch
-Intense Deathmatch in zero gravity for up to 8 players
-15-30 minutes long Journey mode, the most immersive journey ever, especially in online in co-op
-New Innovative way to move freely in VR without suffering motion sickness
-Play with or without room-scale
-Music by lead singer and composer of HIM, Ville Valo.

Downward Spiral: Prologue is the first instalment of very ambitious Downward Spiral Anthology Series. Every game will have different main characters, story and setting but are knitted together with the unsettling backstory which will open episode after episode.

Downward Spiral: Prologue reviews and comments

The Game Mechanics are really interesting. I'm absolutely not a Multiplayer friend, but I think that with this Kind of Getting around and in this Setting, you can put a really exciting Game through. This is just the Prologue, so you can hope for More. The €2 was worth the Test Run to me anyway and if You like Multiplayer has even more to test ...

If you loved lone echo (only available on oculus store) you will love this (small) before taste. For the others I would say darken because of 1 it is cheap and 2 you should not have any nausea at all. Small note to the owners of oculus rift: as usual the controls are made for the Vive and you end up with controls not adapted to the Touchs.

Product received for free Finally a VR Game with Weightlessness and no Motion Sickness! Very well succeeded and the Prologue makes You want more. For the Price of $2$ absolutely ok, Experience but correspondingly short. A beautiful Entry point into Downward Spiral. Good Physics, good Graphics and good Gameplay. The only really bad thing about this Game is: I want more! It is too short for the Prize at 20 min Solo play time. Nevertheless, I am happy to experience this 20 min and look forward to the Continuation. If I paid with the Money I paid for Downward Spiral, who supported further Development of the Game, it was worth it to me. Apart From the far too short Playing Time, I give Downward Spiral 9/10 Points.

Cool! Great Control. I wish I could hang myself freely in the Room, then you can't feel the Feet on the Floor anymore. Due to the physical Ground contact, the Space feeling is somewhat lost, in the Beginning you quickly drift against a Wall and if you repel yourself too Tightly, you immediately bang on the Opposite ones, but over time you quickly learn to yourself with the help of the many Handles and In the Spacecraft. You get a little Booster Later, so you can float more controlled. I didn't have a Second Of Motionsickness. A great Game for all Space Fans!
