Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake reviews and comments

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake pulled me back into Alefgard for 35 hours straight — like being a kid again. It's the perfect reimagining of the JRPG pioneers, blending nostalgia-charged HD-2D visuals with fresh additions that modernize the classics without betraying them. I was blown away by the Rubiss cutscenes and DQ2's ship, which suddenly opens the world in ways that feel huge even today. The OST is still looping in my head. Sure, I groaned at a couple of long grind sections in DQ2, but the smooth turn-based flow, epic boss fights, and the sense of closing out the trilogy make up for everything. Compared to DQIII, it feels more intimate but just as essential — a must-play if you want the full Erdrick saga. At 49.99€ (promo vs 59.99€), it's an absolute must-have on Switch, PS5, or PC. The legend lives again. Full review here: https://rogueh24.fr/test-du-jeu-dragon-quest-i-ii-hd-2d-remake/
