Welcome to Dreadland!
Dreadland is an isometric colony simulator with an emphasis on gathering resources, building resource-generating structures, and fighting hostile demons. Upgrade existing structures, assign jobs to colonists, and invest gold into resource imports.
100% indie, Dreadland features custom sprites and an immersive, eerie soundtrack composed by Kevin MacLeod.
Gather:
Food: The bread and butter of the colony.
Gold: Used to permanently increase daily resource income through a banking structure at the price of 50g/1 resource per day. Also affects score.
Stone: Used to upgrade buildings.
Wood: Required for all buildings.
Resources respawn hourly, but can also be earned each hour/day by constructing specific buildings and/or upgrading the bank.
Build:
Hut: +1 Gold/Hour.
Bank: +50 Gold/Day. Allows purchase of resources.
Shop: +3 Food/Day.
Home: +1 Colonists/Day.
Mine: +1 Stone/Hour.
All buildings can be upgraded indefinitely for a flat fee of 100 stone per upgrade.
Colonists:
Farmer: +1 Food/Hour.
Logger: +1 Wood/Hour.
Miner: +1 Stone/Hour.
All colonists can be assigned jobs of your choosing and provide daily tax income.
Sell:
Food: 1 Food for 1 Gold.
Stone: 1 Stone for 2 Gold.
Wood: 1 Wood for 3 Gold.
Excess resources can be sold at any time.
Tutorial:
An in-game tutorial is available at any time. Simply left-click on the player to display the tutorial.
