About
After passing near a black hole one your cargo class cruiser takes damage to the storage hold spewing valuable containers into the void.
Captain Boss has ordered you to recover the cargo and has kindly provided you a small ship armed with a laser and a hyperdrive.
You must travel near the black hole and recover this cargo! Watch your fuel levels as you'll need to use the thrusters to overcome the immense gravity. Dodge or deflect incoming asteroids. Use your radar to your advantage... when the boss isn't trying to contact you!
Some crew has said they have heard whispers from the void.. What fate is there to be had beyond the Edge of Infinity?
Game JamThis is a game developed for VimJam2 in collaboration with Dridex. The themes of the jam:
- Limitation: Boss - The captain of the cargo cruiser sends you on a dangerous mission to recover cargo around a black hole, and he won't stop contacting you. There's a bug in the IT system that blocks radar during incoming transmissions. The player is therefore blind to the radar during these periodic transmissions. The boss transmits typical annoying office type messages.
- Theme: On the edge - You start off on the edge of the event horizon of a black hole which is constantly pulling you and everything else towards it. You can only fully escape using a hyperdrive which requires a lot of fuel and permission from the boss (a satisfactory amount of cargo recovered)
- Thrust: W
- Rotate Left/Right: A/D
- Fire Laser: E
- Engage Hyperdrive (when enabled): R
- Arrow keys (for movement) and spacebar (laser) also work
