This is the prologue of Emmerholt - an upcoming open world, magic wielding, story driven, adventure game for the HTC Vive, and Oculus Touch. Currently in development by Oneiric Entertainment!
In this prologue follow along the journey of Eli, a young man whom has lived a peaceful life with his friends on a small island off the coast of the mainland. On this night however, something strange takes place on the island that would change Eli's fate forever.
This free demo is meant to act as a prologue for the upcoming game Emmerholt. We are releasing this to get feedback and to see what the community thinks about our locomotion mechanics, gameplay, and story.

Good demo of what vr can do for role playing games. If it will become a full game i will buy it.
For the developers i've found 3 big issues playing it with oculus touch :
1- You should implement the option to turn with the analog stick, if you play with oculus touch, this is a must.
2- The vr hands does not fit with the posoition with my hands exactly, and this creates a strange feeling.
3- After throw anything with magic, the stick of the controler of the hand with you have launched the magac stop working, so you can not move with that stick.

The Game is super done really good to watch. The Control is actually not bad the problem that you have is if you have an Oculus rift and only 2 sensors is not so good as far as the view is concerned because the movement in view indicates the means that if you have to rotate 180 degrees, the sensors can't get you right Capture what the game experience then presses something again. Would be great if the manufacturer could perhaps solve this as with robo recall. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't recommend the game. The game is made great makes it continue like this

In the Bigger Picture definitely a ' Thumbs Up '.
Sure it still has one or the other Weakness for a first Demo, but it feels round overall. Fully expanded, Emmerholt can surely become a Top Game, in keeping with the Classic Adventure.
I only tested Teleport, but you can choose between Touchpad and Teleport at Launch. This was intended to serve the Hater camp.
Amazingly, despite Artificial Movement, Riding was relatively well tolerated for me combined with comic Leg work matching the Graphics. Only on Inclines did my get a bit of a multry, here the Perceptions no longer fit sufficiently together.
Verdict: For adventure fans definitely look at, try and follow the Development.

1. quite lousy Graphics. All totally blurry and already on a few Meters 2. I had sound Problems, there was only partial Background music and no Audio when the NPC spoke (also try the SECOND time) 3. Control goes quite well by the hand (free Movement), I have teleport Not tried 4th riding on the Path is very fun!
5. No Level limit, you can fall off the map 6th nice Spell 7. It comes some Appearance from ner purple cloud and talks backwards, then suddenly you have new Abilities (???)
8. You can eat Bread and Meat 9. To the Story I can't say anything, since my Audio was broken T/was 10th cuddly opponent Models the Worst but the washing graphics-so unfortunately the Game is not Fun
