I was very pleased that an AoE-like Game would finally come out again-and not as an EA Title. However, initially due to Desynchronization, I had the Problem that I couldn't play online with my Boyfriend. Then we thought to ourselves ok, let's wait a bit. This has now been fixed, but he is now struggling despite a strong PC FPS. Although we started a Game fresh and hadn't even played many Units and Buildings and even with 2-3 KIs, it got to 10 FPS at a maximum-that is, unplayable. When he opens a Game, I just fly out and when I want to connect again, the Desynchronization comes back and nothing happens anymore. Also, it often just gets stuck, so I can only close it through the Taskmanager. And as you can see, I don't even have 2 Hours of play and still have these Problems in such a short Time.
The Game therefore has an EA Status for me. Also in terms of Settings, I Think it's an EA Game (Eg No LAN Option, with Multiplayer Lobby you can't set a private Game, there are very few Cards, animals bugging in Circles, etc). The Action Price 23 euros instead of 28 is not so much, but one expects much more from a Game that has not appeared in EA Status.
So I can't recommend it at the Moment!

The Graphics are certainly a matter of taste-not really mine, but I don't put it very well on it either. But What's quite bothering is the Controls. Once you started with a Battle against the AI, according to the Motto Control should be the same as in AoE. So go off. Left Click on the first Villager. Ping On the Map. With each further Left click also just the Position pinged. Well, kept trying and suddenly it went quite normal with the pick.
Well, so the Tutorial Played after all. What can I say, the Control is actually like in AoE. Only she still seems to be bugging around. Really much is not explained in the Tutorial, the only significant Difference to your Role model is actually that one does not primarily stand out in the Age, but unlocks The military and Economic Developments above in the Game Screen.
So off to the first 1vs1. And again with every Click on Villagers, Village center etc just pings. Again a bit clicked through the Menus and it went again. Bugt just seem to be still a bit more. Now, however, we are coming to the Main Problem of the whole. The Server does not appear to be the best, at least that takes a little time to Execute Commands, which is especially noticeable in the Battles. Selecting multiple Units at once often doesn't work at all. (The part is not mentioned in the short Tutorial)-And sending the Units individually into combat is virtually impossible. But if the Server has a good Minute, it's going very well.
Without those two Problems, the Game would certainly even be fun. Maybe I'd just caught a bad Moment, too. But even without this, one of the AoE-series games would surely be the better choice. Only a free Nation is a little lean. Two or three should already be, otherwise you will only ever Play against the same Nation. In Addition, there are only 1vs1 battles. Or stop the against the AI. A Single-player campaign Is completely missing.
