Endless Sky reminds me-in Positives like Negatives-strongly of the former Elite or X, if only the Trading Part. You look for Trade Routes or Jobs and drive back and forth until the next Ship, so the next warehouse extension can be bought and then you continue the Routes.
It's just a Pity that the Degree of Difficulty is rather moderate: Ultimately, you almost never die with well-planned Jump Routes. If so, the autosave Stored at each Landing saves. So The many Battleships are rather useless if you don't necessarily want to hijack and sell Ships, which is quite elaborate compared to Trade. And so at some point it's quite easy to get to an enormously strong Fleet to explore the Rest of Space.
Trade, Too, leaves something to be desired. First of all, It is practically not worth trading in goods, the "Jobs" are simply much better paid. Later, with appropriate Cargo space, you loosely do 10 times every job with a good Trading Route. A little Balancing Would have done good. But it is still in Development ...
Still, it's Certainly worth it for old Star Traders for a few Hours and makes for pleasantly wistful Reminders of old Times. And for free. Thanks to the Developers!

The game is fine but lately when I pass through the green booths I'm changing character, and always at a distance of two or three positions, in the list of characters, compared to the previous one, until it reaches the last. Bug or subliminal secret message to be deciphered?

There are several bugs but the most significant is what happens when you are buying / unlocking a character and the game goes crazy and you unlock another one and if the character you unlocked cost you less it will make you pay the same as you wanted. But this is a nice pastime

The game is actually a good pastime when somebody is boring, on the bus etc. The game is now nothing in the long run, should be clear to some before they make their reviews!
Unfortunately, the game crashes very often, which can annoy one very much. In addition, there is a lot of annoying advertising and one has the hang of it someday and it does not make fun anymore. (Not even play for it by the way)

This game looks really nice and has a great feel to it. I like the relaxing atmosphere created by both the visuals and the soundtrack. But it feels to me like the game was pushed out without much testing, and that is too bad because I think it could be great with a little more work. The biggest issues: The game randomly crashes mid play. You can't turn of the music and listen to your own music, forcing you to listen to the same song (if you want sound at all) on repeat, which can get a little annoying. When buying new avatars from the store/selection, instead of buying the avatar you have selected, it seemingly buys a random avatar instead. So many times I had 9000 saved up for the Ice Cream Ninja, went to buy it, and the game bought something else instead. But the most annoying thing of all is the camera. Way too often is the camera too high up and you die due to not being able to see the obstacles. It isn't very intuitive and can get pretty frustrating. There are also some issues with hit detection, and response time that screw up. So generally it seems it didn't go through rigorous enough testing, and it definitely needs an update. With these things fixed, I could easily see it as a 4 or 5 star game.
