Escape The Past reviews and comments

So, in two points is the good first it is a little game point and click/escape room with small headache. Gamplay is basic and simplified. the graphics are super nice anyway, Ditto for the soundtrack. and at least good the plot has no conclusion strictly speaking. the blue gems Servet only to make a success (which is buggy because I did not receive while I had them all) and value for money: I put 1h30 to finish the 4 chapters, the smartest could the wipe in 1h see less , replayability is slightly present if you want to complete your steam achievements. I think personal opinion that 4.99 price fix off promo is not a bad price for someone who is just looking for a small solo games. If not last point (yes I lied) I think the game can be played several as a salon game with children, all together around a table and with the parents to spin a little hand for the hardest puzzles , I think the game is pretty interractive for that. (option a try) otherwise I am rather satisfied with this little game experience, I will not go to say that it is a great game but rather a good time:)

Disappointed by this point and click that I found very low-end, without real story, really very casual, kind of small games from BigFish... You pick up items and combine them on the décor, from here some codes to remember, and that's it. The set takes place on still images, no characters to meet, no mystery to solve, no mini games or puzzles, it's really very simplistic. The game breaks down into 4 chapters, the last one being a little more complicated to finish. For the story... It is described above on the page of the shop and boils down to this: "stuck on an island, you only have one thing in mind... leave. You have been around the island time and time again, you think you know all its secrets. It is time for you to succeed in freeing yourself from this prison. But you will have to deal with your life. " Don't expect twists, puzzles or anything else that might bring you a semblance of history, your only goal will be to pick up and use objects wisely. The game loops in about 2H. Graphically it is not extraordinary but not ugly for all that. Level gameplay it is not unpleasant to play but too easy. I have nothing else to say because there is nothing memorable to draw from. It brings nothing new but especially nothing very immersive or interressant, it is flat and soulless. For me this game is summed up in some time pass without much interest that once finished will return from where it comes: the past to be quickly forgotten.
