The Cat Lady is one of the horror point and Click-Adventure game.
What is this Game actually about?
The Protagonist is a 40-Year-old Weary of her Life named Susan Ashwort, she dies exactly by Moment by which the Game begins by a successful Suicide.
But she is brought back.
From Death?
From the Devil?
Or even their own Inner Demons?
She is given a Gift she never wanted to accept, Immortality, until she finds the 5 Parasites who must die.
But this is a Problem at the Beginning, because all Susan wants Is to die so that she has Peace.
The Environments are for the most part hand-drawn and in black and white Style. Only occasionally strong Color Pigments stand out and always underscore the gloomy or unwieldy atmosphere of the area or Conversation this Game deals a lot with the still-secluded social Issues, such as Depression, suicide, Loneliness and the Disputes with human Suffering.
And in all this lies Susan and her new Friend Mitzi, but Susan is growing, the anxious Caterpillar is developing Into a terrific Woman who is unrecognisable.
The Puzzles are sometimes inconclusive but never frustrating. (Can one tell me like me, come to the closed Combination?)
This Game does everything right, the Soundtrack undercuts the entire Game beautifully. It even aroused anger and Grief in me. The Voice Actors are wonderful, no Voice is like the other and they give this World a Life that has become very rare.
There's another Thing about Harvester Games and Screen 7: You have another Game on the Market: "Downfall" there, Joes live is shown, the crazy Guy who found his "love" for living in The Cat Lady.
I recommend the Cat lady to anyone who can no longer see AAA titles that the "Indie" Mainstream becomes too much. Here really is one of the last titles that deserve the Word indie.
I was very impressed by the Game, as much as I really wanted it in my Ajay bundle at the Time.
Let yourself be excited and also leave the Devs in the Forum a Compliment, they will love you.

A very bizarre horror PnC Game that has impressed me greatly despite its cranky Outward appearance. In the first Second, the Whole thing seems more like a bad Joke, but after a few Moments you have already got into the Pull of the Story.
Briefly on the Story: The Game cuts to a very fierce Theme: How does it feel to be a Suicide-prone person? One looks through the Eyes of Susan Ashworth, a Middle-aged woman who lives alone in a small neglected Apartment. She kills herself, with Medication, and so hopes to escape the cruel World. But then she awakens, in another World (Pre-hell?) that is grotesque and chilling. There You will meet a Person who wants to give her Life back, but the Whole thing comes at a Price ...
As the Game progresses, you learn more about Susan and the harsh Fate that she drove to Suicide. A brutal and heartbreaking Story takes its Course ...
You immerse yourself in febulliently tripping, grotesque Worlds that make you shudder.
POSITIV:-An insanely profound and emotionally told sad but beautiful Story, which is backed by good Sychro and a wonderful Soundtrack-tricky combination puzzle WITHOUT Tips, you have to master everything on your own, I think that's great!
-Play can be stored almost everywhere-unique Graphics-based on games FROM the 90s-which contributes a lot to the disturbing Atmosphere NEGATIV:-you have to bring Patience, the Story is absolutely cool, but the Dialogues sometimes go very long; Keyword Interactive Film-The Game is too short ... Since you got really warm with everything and ZACK comes the End Credits ... That disappointed me a bit ...-The Game often presents you with having a ' Choice ' to give other Characters a suitable Answer, but actually you only work all the Possibilities ...
Conclusion: "The Cat Lady" is great for Anyone who likes to take their Time playing and can get lost in the Story. Recommend It especially To fans of the ' Silent Hill ' Universe, as Here too Abysses of the human Psyche are addressed. The whole thing is Peppered with very violent Scenes that are not for Weak Nerves.
