Evac Zone 2

It's the year 2525 and mankind is in fact still alive, barely. 

After Earth was completely exhausted of its resources, the human race has been desperately searching for a new habitable planet. To no avail.

There are two major factions representing the last 100 million humans left.

The Seekers and the Pirates.

You are part of the Seekers, a space force set up for the sole purpose of finding a new planet. Unfortunately for you, the Pirates are just as keen to pillage everything they can find.

Controls:

WASD - Up, Down, Left, Right

Space - Shoot laser

ESC - Go back to menu

Devlog:

This game was made for "Devtober 2021 game jam". Since I had so much fun making the first game, I thought I may as well make another one that is more polished. 

I originally started in mid-september but didn't start working on it until devtober started, which was a great opportunity to keep myself motivated.

Wish I added more gameplay mechanics but I'm glad I managed to implement a boss fight at least.

All the art and music is made by me. For the code I will be honest and say that 50% is from more competent programmers on the internet (BrackeysYT).
