==== WAIT, WHAT IS THIS? ====
Okay, so the actual shoot-em up plays like this:
It's an infinitely looping, high score game.
This is not a regular shooter, the level structure is not like R-Type or Ikaruga or Dodonpachi or most shmups. There is only *one level*, but it keeps changing with each loop.
The crazy part is, every time you beat the level, the *speed of the game* increases. It gets quite challenging by loop 5, and incredibly difficulty by loop 8.

To help out, there's a powerup called 'Time Pulse', in limited quantity. It slows down time temporarily, and if you shoot the enemy bullets during this time, you zap them into cash. And for every so-many bullets you destroy like this, you get a new Time Pulse! It's good to get you out of a jam, and man does it get tough later on.
Once you understand the flow of the loops, you'll know when the best time to spend your Time Pulse, and you'll start to figure out how to chain them, earn more, to get further.

Game Type reviews and comments

Translated by
Microsoft from French
I remember... It was in 2011, the end of the year. When Microsoft had updated the dashboard of the Xbox 360... It was a world that crumbled, a change that will forever make the console image for players like me who used it every day. Seeing my dashboard fills with pubs, having a completely rotten and complicated browsing, I've lived it as a betrayal. Not only did I find myself with "CANAL + FOOTBALL all League 1" in close-up as a welcome with my DVD game at the bottom left...... not only did the TV and VOD pages have priority on the Games page...... but in addition...... all downloadable games (games on demand (= DVD games dematerialised), XBLA and XBLIG (small independent games) were all hidden behind an absurd icon with a chick in Hoodie that jumps and the inscription "types of games" (= "game type") CA had no Sense!! And it was especially guaranteed to have less exposure for the small Indes of the XBLIG (because Yes, it was stuffed with crap, there were still some cool games, whose games Mommy's best games precisely) then one day a wind of Justice blew and Mommy's best GAM ES has released GAME TYPE, game parodiing this dashboard of m *. But the worst part, my kids, is that it's not just a joke, it's a real game, admittedly small, but that is well thought out, plays well, is difficult and is focused scoring! GAME TYPE starts with a pastiche from the dashboard of the X360 (renamed "media ball") infested with pubs and the goal is to.... find the game, because as in real life, it is the challenge. Then once the game is found, the real game begins. This is a horizontal shmup in which we embody the girl in Hoodie of the box "type of game" precisely who faces the ads of the dashboard of the Xbox... forgiveness of the mediaball: Donuts, 4 * 4, cats everywhere and there is even a "giant enemy crab". The engine is the same as Shoot1Up from the same developer (which I also recommend) so getting started is similar. The game is conlocated from a single level that repeats itself and each time with more enemies. At the end of a few loops we insult the Supreme boss: CAT CHAT, the business cat behind his desk. The first shot is low but allows to attack up and down also. The second shot, the "PARKOUR" Attn is like a powerful RADIUS that also slows down enemy bullets but has a limited gauge. Killing enemies makes money appear and you have to stop pulling to draw money toward you. But once he's attracted, we can get back on the shot, only the money that appeared while we're shooting won't come to you until we keep the key pressed. The money fills the bar of PARKOUR (lol) and the multiplier of points that decreases quite quickly. To scorer, it is necessary to release the trigger frequently and briefly to collect constantly money and thus keep the multiplier as high as possible. A limited special attack slows down time and makes the PARKOUR attack capable of transforming enemy bullets into silver. We win a new one at each loop but also when you turn a number of silver bullets. The question is, then, when to use this ability: to save your skin or to scorer? Especially as the number of lives is limited and, to my knowledge, it is impossible to earn more. The parts are short but intense! The kind of little game with which we spend a good time and which we come back from time to time to change ideas and improve his score. This game is part of the "Mommy's best action pack" which contains Shoot1Up that I also advise you (and it's cheap at all) PAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRKOUR!!!!
