About

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is the third game in the series that was started by Giana Sisters, a 1987 platformer. The original game was a Super Mario rip-off, but, though the new game retained many of the old mechanics (such as defeating enemies by jumping on them), there are also novel gameplay ideas. You play as Giana, a girl who tries to rescue her sister Maria from the hands of an evil dragon Gurglewocky. Giana herself has two different personalities, a "Cutie" and a "Punk", that can be switched during the game. This change also dramatically alters the environment, allowing the player to shift between two dream worlds: one is a brightly colored garden, while other is a dark, nightmarish forest of giant mushrooms. In both worlds, the levels are nearly identical, despite the aesthetic change. But sometimes the game may demand you to switch to another world to move forward or to obtain a powerup that only exists in one of the worlds. A definitive feature of Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams is its music. The score was composed by Chris Hulsbeck, who worked with the original Giana Sisters, and metal band Machinae Supremacy. The soundtrack shifts between “traditional” and "heavy" versions of the same compositions to highlight the game's dual nature.

That is a Lie, that this Game has a local-coop! It has a local-multiplayer where you can race against a friend... In Singleplayer the Game is difficult, but pretty cool.

Finally a good Platformer, which demands a playful one. Lovingly designed, cuddly animated and really not easy to play through. Like me!

A very classic platformer with a little fouilli design. The difficulty is poorly dosed and the checkpoints poorly placed. The gameplay is quick to take in hand, but we force yourself to stay on the game. Not had the courage to train 3h on the end boss, I have RAGEQUIT.

The remake of Giana sisters is not to blush against Mario. Colorful, with impeccable design, to the unusual difficulty for the one who is not accustomed to the platform in scrolling, with cool gameplay mechanics that can prove complex, and to the music divided into two types of atmosphere, Giana sisters is a good indie game as we would like to see more often.

Well, what can I say a C64 classic in the new Outfit. Beautifully animated mi new Ideas to spice up the simple Mariope principle of that time: I say price Performance only wau. The best Jump I saw again in a long time: The original was a Supermariobros lrapso by comodor, where Nintendo was not necessarily so enthusiastic. Especially because the Game on the Commodore computers of that time Was an absolute success. Meanwhile, There's even Giana Sisters on the Nintendo DS. I think more I don't need to say more

Giana sisters is a very good platform-action-scrolling game featuring two sisters with different strengths and characters. One attack ' in a ball ' in a powerful way, the other can stay in the air for a long time. Graphically, the worlds in 3D are superb with a well-rendered lights (the same level as Trine) and the excellent soundtrack (a little metal). The music and the visual aspect of the world change as one moves from one sister to another, making Giana sisters a separate game. If you like platform-action games, go ahead!

Great Graphics ... Butcher Game. Unfortunately, more of a Thumbs down. While It bears the Name of the popular Sisters of all Amiga veterans, it doesn't keep what the original Game promised. I'm just bothered that it's always possible to always switch between the Giana forms. I would have liked the classic Game. Just as the primal programmers created it. Had it been so with this new graphic Would have been a new Classic born. So it's just too wild a game that annoys at some point. What a pity... So much Potential wasted. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it ... Only real Hardcorefans that also deal with the biggest Differences from the Original.
